Stump a Seminarian!
Click here for a video that introduces the viewer to the seminarians of the diocese, what drew them to their calling and what seminary life is like for them. One of the seminarians is Brady Lendewig (son of parishioners Eric and Jessica Lendewig) who is completing his first year of Theology at Mount Angel Seminary in Oregon. Enjoy!
WHAT WE DO
Vocations Ministry encourages vocations to the priesthood, permanent diaconate and religious life by inviting all parishioners to pray for vocations, by educating all parishioners in the blessings and joy of life dedicated to Christ, and by inviting appropriate candidates to consider this dedicated life.
WHO WE ARE
A small group of parishioners (6) who meet every other month to discuss how we can raise awareness and interest within our parish to religious vocations and how we can encourage young men and women to consider a life dedicated to Christ.
HOW YOU CAN BECOME INVOLVED
Pray for vocations to the religious life. Support our efforts by attending events celebrating the Year of Consecrated Life. Pray with us every first Thursday at Mount St. Joseph Seminary and Novitiate, 7:00 p.m. Click here for a downloadable vocations prayer booklet for your use at home.
