Faith Formation
for 7th and 8th Graders
WHAT WE DO: EDGE is designed to meet the educational, spiritual, emotional, and social needs of adolescents. It includes preparation for receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation.
This is an exciting program that will prepare boys and girls for Confirmation (also catch-up classes for Reconciliation and First Communion) while teaching them how to live their Catholic faith and take pride in it!
WHO WE ARE: Catholic Middle-School Youth Ministry program open to 7th and 8th graders.
WHEN DO WE SERVE: From October through May, we meet on
Wednesdays, 7:00PM to 8:30PM.
HOW DO YOU ENROLL YOUR STUDENT: Register you child(ren) through the parish website at our Registration Site
TUITION: $95 per student. Additional program fees for Confirmation retreat will be collected later in the year.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Families must be registered and participate at weekend Mass at St. Joseph Marello Parish in order for youth to participate in the EDGE. This program is designed for Middle School youth in 7th and 8th grades.
Non-Parishioners: In order to register in the EDGE at St. Joseph Marello Parish, you must:
1) receive approval from our youth minister
2) present a letter from your pastor approving the registration, especially if your child intends to receive sacraments
3) complete the EDGE and Diocese Registration Forms
4) tuition for non-parishioners is $160 per student. Space is limited, so we can accept only a few non-parishioner students each year.
