In a riveting presentation, Jackie gave us an understanding of the goals and mission of the organization and the work they do to prepare homeless and marginalized mothers (with their children) to enter into society as productive citizens. Acres of Hope was chosen as our Lenten Alsmgiving recipient. If you have not already donated to this wonderful cause, you can mail or drop cash or a check (payable to "SJMMG") at the office. Be sure to indicate "Acres of Hope" on the line at the bottom of your check, or if you are bringing cash, please label it as such on the envelope. (Go to their website for more information: acresofhopeonline.org.)

The Saint Joseph Marello Marian Guild Celebrated Christmas December 5 with its
Annual Christmas Brunch in Erin's beautiful home.
Approximately 50 ladies gathered to toast the season, the good works of the Marian Guild and each other! An amazing spread was laid out and the event was capped with a Carol Sing that featured a particularly rollicking version of "The Twelve Days of Christmas." For more photos of the event, please see the photo album album. Merry Christmas!
