Serving youth has always been a special calling for the Oblates of St. Joseph. Saint Joseph Marello founded the Oblates of St. Joseph in 1878. As the order grew worldwide, the brothers and priests of the congregation worked diligently to develop a vibrant youth ministry which focused on religious education.

That mission continues today at Marello Youth Retreat Center as the Oblates of St. Joseph work to provide a spiritual haven where youth and young adults can strengthen their values and convictions.

The Marello Youth Retreat Center, located directly adjacent to Mount St. Joseph Seminary, is a spiritual haven for youth located in the beautiful, rolling hills of Loomis, California.

The Retreat Center operates as a ministry of the Oblates of St. Joseph, a religious order of priests and brothers devoted to encouraging the welfare of youth. This setting affords youth the opportunity to experience peace and prayer, respite and recreation, fun and faith.
