St. Joseph Marello parish is committed to bringing God's grace to you through the Sacraments. We have programs appropriately tailored for the differing needs of different ages. Most of all, we're here to help. You'll find contact information below.

Children  2nd - 6th Grade: We will offer formal catechesis with the Family Faith Formation program.  This is available for all 2nd graders, as well as their parents.  

Preparation for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion is planned to be offered in tandem with our Family Faith Formation catechesis program offered through Discovery (K-3rd grades) and Explorer (4-6th grades) programs.

 

Middle school students register for Confirmation Preparation. Our dynamic youth ministers will help prepare your students for First Reconciliation, First Communion, and Confirmation.

High school students are welcome to attend Into the Deep every other Wednesday from 6:30-8:00 PM in the Ministry Center.

Adults (age 18 and older)
The Rites of Christian Initiation (RCIA) is a ministry that prepares adults 18+ years for the Sacraments of Baptism (unless already baptized in a Christian church), Confirmation and Holy Eucharist. Sessions begin weekly early in the Fall and conclude in late May. Sacraments are received at the Easter Vigil, the evening before Easter Sunday. Canon Law

The Lord Jesus Christ, at the Last Supper, said "Do this in remembrance
of me" (Luke 22:19). The Catechism reminds us that the Eucharist occupies a unique place as the"Sacrament of sacraments" (CCC 1211).
