This is a special week set aside every year for each of us to reflect on our own vocation. God calls us all to holiness as married couples, ordained priests or deacons, dedicated religious brothers or sisters or single people living our faith generously and lovingly.
He asks us to share that faith with our children and grandchildren by our example and our instruction. And He asks us to join Him in encouraging young men and women to dedicate their lives as priests, deacons, and religious brothers or sisters to serve His people.
We are all called to love and serve Him and one another, each in our own special way. May we be the light that leads others to Him.
Vocation Ministry
What We Do
We are all called to be holy as single people, married couples, religious brothers or sisters, or ordained deacons and priests.
Vocation Ministry invites all parishioners to pray for all vocations, but especially for young men and women who are considering religious life. Our work starts with prayer, focuses on educating all parishioners in the blessings and joy of life dedicated to Christ, and encourages and invites young men and women to consider religious life.
Who We Are
We are a group of parishioners who meet quarterly to discuss and plan how we can raise awareness of and interest in religious vocations within our community. We encourage families to pray for vocations, to discuss religious vocations with their children and grandchildren, and to encourage and support the young men and women who are drawn to the religious life.
