The Sacrament of Confirmation marks an important moment in the life of a Catholic. It completes the initiation process that began at Baptism, and it launches one into an active life as a member of the Catholic faith. It is an exciting time of growth, responsibility and commitment!
By Confirmation, Christians [...] share more completely in the mission of Jesus Christ and the fullness of the Holy Spirit with which he is filled, so that their lives may give off "the aroma of Christ" (CCC 1294).
There are a number of components to our two-year Confirmation program. If you are interested in having your child confirmed, it is assumed that your family participates at Mass every weekend and that your son/daughter is continuing to learn more about the Catholic faith at home and through Confirmation preparation, our Faith Formation program for 7th and 8th grade students, or Youth Ministry (for high school students).
