"Confirmation perfects Baptismal grace; it is the sacrament which gives the Holy Spirit in order to root us more deeply in divine filiation, incorporate us more firmly into Christ, strenthen our bond with the Church, associate us more closely with her mission, and help us bear witness to the Christian faith in words accompanied by deeds." (CCC 1316)

 

Confirmation completes initiation into the Catholc Church. Proximate preparation for Confirmation begins in 7th grade. It is a two year preparation program. We use Chosen: Your Journey to Confirmation from Ascension and meet every other Wednesday from 6:30-8:00 unless otherwise indicated.
