SCOUT INFORMATION:
WHAT WE DO
St. Joseph Marello supports Scouting as a Catholic Youth Ministry that helps young people develop character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and develops personal fitness. The spiritual values imparted through the religious emblems program, Scout retreats, and the ideals of Scouting contribute to sound spiritual growth.
WHO WE ARE
Troop 115 achieves the aims of Scouting and goals for youth ministry with an annual program of skills and leadership development, outdoor activities, service projects, and challenging high adventures. Scouts take their own lead, diving into the rugged world of outdoor adventure, relying on teamwork, character, and charity to accomplish what everyone else thinks is impossible.
HOW YOU CAN BECOME INVOLVED
If you are a young person age 11 to 17 years old, the time for a real adventure is now with Scout Troop 115! Troop 115 meets the second and fourth Thursdays in the parish overflow room, 7:00-8:30 p.m.
SCOUTS BSA LOOKING FOR ADULT LEADERSHIP
The mission of Scouts BSA is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law...values that include duty and reverence to God. St. Joseph Marello Parish Troop 115 is an active youth ministry looking to expand the adult leadership team. Are you a former Scout, a pack or troop leader, or parent interested in supporting an annual program of skills and leadership development, outdoor activities, service projects, and challenging high adventures for youth ages 11 to 17?
