TV Mass for the Homebound

Make Sundays complete for someone you love who cannot get to church. Please share the news about "My Sunday Mass" on TV: 9:30am on KSPX Channel 29.

Prayer intentions from viewers, uplifting homilies, a Prayer for Spiritual Communion, and closed captioning make "My Sunday Mass" a time of spiritual comfort.

For more information or to see the Mass online, visit www.MySundayMass.org.

Please note:
If you are able to attend church, TV or online liturgy does not meet the Sunday Mass obligation.

Mount St. Joseph Seminary

Mount St. Joseph is well known to all our parishioners and friends. Located at 6530 Wells Avenue in Loomis (and the home of the Marello Youth Retreat Center), it is where future priests and brothers of the Oblates of St. Joseph prepare for ministry in the Church. Visit their website at mountstjoseph.org to view their calendar of events, including Mass times.

Pray for Vocations ... Let us pray daily that the Lord will send His holy Church many vocations, men and women who will devote their entire life to the worship of the Lord and to the service of His holy people as priests, brothers and sisters. Pray that all those called will be able to discern the Lord's will for them and then have the courage to follow with love and zeal. Pray for vocations from our parish!

For information about the Oblates of St. Joseph, priests and brothers: www.imitatejoseph.org.

See a video of Father Sergio Perez, O.S.J.: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rbM4Ht6QZfg.

Please join us the first Thrusday of every month at Mount St. Joseph, 6530 Wells Avenue, Loomis, in the Oblates of St. Joseph seminary chapel.

Parishioners are invited to join us as together we pray to the "Lord of the Harvest" to touch the hearts of our young people and have them consider giving themselves completely to Christ as a priest, religious brother/sister, or permanent deacon.

We pray in a special way for the Oblates of St. Joseph religious congregation, the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist, and the Diocese of Sacramento.

Please pray every day that young men and women hear and respond generously to the Lord's call to the priesthood, diaconate, and religious life. Within your own family, support and encourage vocations to the consecrated life. Talk to your children and grandchildren of their role in God's plan.
